The Queen of Cádiz Tour.

Our adventure in Cádiz will begin with transfers from Jerez de la Frontera airport or San Fernando train station. You will be welcomed to your beautiful villa, settle in and enjoy with a welcome cocktail and buffet dinner with your host and fellow women travellers, which will allow us to start our retreat calmly and get ready for an exciting week.

After  a delicious organic breakfast we will go to Cádiz where we will walk on an exciting city tour of 3,000-years-old Cádiz, discovering vibrant culture and rich, ancient history, followed by a dive into the food market alongside a reknown local chef. Together, we will pick fresh ingredients that we will later enjoy with a delightful meal at his top restaurant, savoring authentic dishes of our Andalusian gastronomy. In the afternoon, we will relax and enjoy our amazing urban beach or a traditional merienda at a beautiful café, according to your preference. As the day winds down, we will return to the villa, where a casual dinner buffet will be waiting for us to share stories and enjoy a relaxing time with our fellow travellers.

We have a very full day!  We will visit Jerez de la Frontera and as a Andalusian Queen, we will experience the art of the world famous Andalusian horse dance in a charming show. Next, we will visit a local women-run winery with a fascinating history, and delight in a tasting of exquisite sherry wines. Later, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a tablao, while watching a fascinating flamenco show. In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the city, allowing us to explore the city and enjoy some free time. Afterwards, we will have the exclusive opportunity to immerse ourselves in Jerez culture by trying on flamenco dresses in a charming traditional workshop. At the end of the day, we will gather for a tapas dinner in a traditional Jerez tavern, sharing stories and enjoying the local cuisine, before returning to our villa to rest.

Today is a perfect example of a day with natural products and the legagy of an Andalusi lifestyle.

We will visit an ecological olive oil factory and farm where we will savor the exquisite flavors of varieties of tomatoes and olive oil. We will then explore the charming streets of Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most iconic "white towns" in the province, on a guided city tour with its beautifull streets and artscrafts shops. 

Later, we will indulge in a delightful lunch at a restaurant renowned for its enchanting ambiance and delicious Arab-Andalusian cuisine. Also, we will rejuvenate with a historical and authentic hamman session where we will take care of body and mind with the luxurious technique of black soap, aromatherapy and alchemical tinctures of the ancient Queens and partake in a serene tea ceremony with beautiful views, so make sure to bring your swimsuit with you! 

We will conclude our day in the villa where we are going to meet a professional skin care woman who will explain some traditional techniques for healthy skin with natural products for a great benefit. Afterwards, we will share a nice buffet together in the villa.

It's our sea-inspired day!. After breakfast, we will make a rare visit to discover an ancient fishing process that has shaped the local culture for centuries and even enjoy local cuisine in a "estero-salina".

For lunch, we will enjoy a wonderful typical Andalusian and Cadiz meal. Depending on the weather we will have lunch in the "estero-salina" or in the villa with dishes based on the tradition of the local cuisine. 

In the afternoon we will prepare for a sunset in a boat or catamaran ride with a selection of fine local wines on board. Weather permitting, we will also have the opportunity to take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean! 

We will conclude our adventure with a delicious dinner, savouring the pleasure of a serene atmosphere as the sunsets over the horizon, just as the Queen of Phoenicians did thousands of years ago.

Today, after breakfast, we will embark on an exploration of the impressive Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia and its stunning dunes of Bolonia, a unique archaeological site with a preserved beachside village where we will discover the ancient Roman style of cooking and a unique elixir made from fish ("Garum") that Roman women prepared thousands of years ago and which we still use today. We will then enjoy a panoramic tour of the Strait of Gibraltar and, with luck, we will see Africa close on the horizon! Only fourteen kilometres will separate us from Morocco. Our journey will continue with a visit to the charming town of Tarifa, where we will taste delicious tapas in a bohemian atmosphere.

We will have our last yoga session and breakfast together in the villa, and we will organise the transfer to the airport or train station. We will say goodbye with a little surprise to remind you of your beautiful stay with us.
